In this article, Charbel explains how he helps companies protect their digital assets with customized solutions.

Charbel has extensive experience in the design and implementation of Microsoft Sentinel and specializes in transitioning companies to a modern and secure cloud environment. His successes include migration projects from on-prem infrastructures to the cloud as well as the optimization and protection of company data through the targeted use of Microsoft solutions for business continuity and security.

Focus areas:

• Cloud migration and integration: Charbel leads projects that enable companies to smoothly migrate their infrastructure to Microsoft Azure - with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Modern cloud solutions: He develops solutions that improve technology while protecting the core business. He primarily uses Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Defender XDR to strengthen security through unified visibility, analysis and response.
• Security solutions and compliance: A central component of his work is the protection of IT infrastructures through customized security and compliance solutions. Thanks to his in-depth experience with Microsoft Defender XDR as well as SIEM and SOAR functionalities, he helps organizations remain vigilant against cyber attacks and protect themselves effectively.

One of Charbel’s key strengths lies in his capacity to create solutions specifically tailored to his clients' needs. An especially exciting project he recently executed involved migrating security information and event management (SIEM) to Microsoft Sentinel, conducting workshops, designing and architecting solutions that included SIEM as Code, and automating workflows at a large luxury sector company. By combining Microsoft Defender XDR and SIEM with a CI/CD workflow, he successfully accelerated the deployment process in a repeatable manner, lowered costs, and enhanced efficiency while also boosting security detection.

Charbel completed his training as an information security manager with a federal diploma at the ICT Vocational Training Switzerland in Bern. Since then, he has gained extensive practical experience in various roles - particularly in the area of cloud security and in the implementation of numerous Microsoft solutions. He has continuously deepened his expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Security.

This collegial atmosphere inspires him in his daily work and ensures that he feels completely at ease.

Despite complex projects, he particularly appreciates the flexibility that comes with his work. "Of course, projects have to be delivered. But we communicate openly as a team, so I can also make time for my further training and my fitness program," he explains. He goes to the gym a few times a week and continues to train - a balancing act that works perfectly thanks to good coordination within the team.

And of course there's also plenty of fun: joint activities and team events throughout the year strengthen team spirit and create many wonderful memories.
