Lyndon has extensive experience in the implementation of Azure Landing Zones including Entra ID and specializes in accompanying companies into the Microsoft Cloud with the framework specially developed by itnetX, whereby standardization, modernization and security form the cornerstones of the adaptation.

His successes include successful onboarding and migration projects from local infrastructures to the cloud as well as the optimization of workflows through the targeted use of Microsoft tools.

• Journey to the CloudThe Cloud Adoption Framework developed by itnetX comprises work steps from strategic preparation for corporate management, through an assessment to find suitable cloud use cases, including for later migrations to the cloud, to the definition of governance with security and the implementation of the target environment, the landing zone. Lyndon has made a significant contribution to this and has already accompanied many companies through the journey.
• CI/CD with Infrastructure as CodeLyndon is particularly adept at implementing the standardized Azure Landing Zone at companies using declarative Terraform code and Azure Deployment Pipelines. If desired, he can also make dynamic individual adjustments in the Landing Zone itself or when integrating existing work processes with other automation or ITSM solutions.
  If a company has decided to adapt Infrastructure as Code as a future operating process, Lyndon can also plan and carry out the necessary training, for example for Terraform or ARM/Bicep.
• Information SecurityA central part of Lyndon's work is also to protect itnetX's internal IT infrastructure with coordinated security and compliance solutions. With his in-depth knowledge of Entra ID and its security features, Lyndon ensures that the company stays up to date and that colleagues can work safely and efficiently.
  In his additional role as Internal Information Security Officer, Lyndon also ensures that the ISO27001 certification status is maintained.

One of Lyndon's strengths is his ability to approach problems analytically and develop solutions that effectively and efficiently meet the needs of his clients. To this end, it is important to keep his broad knowledge, e.g. in Azure technologies, up to date as much as possible in order to deepen his skills when necessary.

A case in point for an organization that wanted to operate the landing zone via the portal was the adaptation of the Azure Virtual Network Manager for the central management of route tables in the virtual network, as the standard solution using resource policies was too opaque. The existing documentation of the new product was studied and implemented in a lab environment to test its functionality to meet the requirements, a kind of PoC. The security aspect was also taken into account here with the possible delegation of authorizations for the new functions, as well as integration and scaling in the landing zone. The positive result was discussed and implemented together with the organization and further steps for adapting processes and responsibilities were recorded.

With almost nine years of service, Lyndon has already experienced many changes at itnetX. What has remained is the positive spirit, supported by an open and familiar culture. Lyndon had actually completed his training as a commercial clerk, but it was during this time that his passion for computers was awakened and he acquired all kinds of knowledge himself. By starting directly in a 2nd level support position, he was able to acquire further valuable knowledge with a lot of practical experience in the corporate IT environment. The focus at his next employer was always on Microsoft infrastructure, which, due to the widespread introduction of virtualization in conjunction with storage and networks, constantly brought new technologies and associated projects with it in order to gain new knowledge and experience. Not least in the Microsoft Cloud environment with itnetX.
