Explosion Power faced the challenge of modernizing its IT infrastructure to keep pace with the growth and increasing demands of the market. The existing fragmentation and complexity of the IT landscape not only hindered efficiency, but also posed a security risk.

A comprehensive transformation plan was developed in close collaboration with itnetX. This included the migration of the local servers to the Azure Cloud, the integration of existing systems into the Managed Workplace OneX and the introduction of state-of-the-art security measures. A scalable IT infrastructure was created that enables Explosion Power to react flexibly to future growth requirements.

By taking over the operation of Swisscom tools such as Smart Business Connect and the network, seamless communication was ensured. In addition, the existing printing environment was integrated and Office 365 & Azure Backup was introduced. Furthermore, solutions for disaster recovery and the availability of critical server systems as well as mobile working were provided, which further improved the flexibility and efficiency of the company.

Training to establish the new IT environment

The introduction of a new IT environment required targeted training for employees. itnetX supported Explosion Power in making the transition to the modernized IT infrastructure a smooth one. Customized training was provided to prepare end users for the new tools and processes to ensure they could use them effectively.
